1. You'll find that a lot of people who are into fandom (anime/manga fandom specifically) are also interested in many other things just as much. If you're worried, I would suggest trying to get involved in other things (in real life, not the internet) and making friends in that interest area. You'd be surprised how many people actually like anime and manga and wapanesey things who AREN'T a part of the smelly otaku stereotype. You sound like you just need some self confidence to go out and do it. :) Of course...if you have no other interests than fandom then...well I can't help ya there.

29. Yeah I felt the same way for awhile. You just gotta open up and put yourself out there. There will always be that fear that you're going to disappoint, but you'll never know if you don't try. :3
