No, it really doesn't. Then again I was also surprised it had an anime and Japanese live-action.

It won't be a big budget thing anyway, but the info about it should still be on Toykopops website.

Well, the anime's a low-budget OVA, so that's not too surprising, but yeah, the Japanese live-action surprised me too.

I have to admit, I don't have terribly high hopes for any American movie adaptation -- I mean, nine times out of ten, movies based on books take the characters' names and some trappings of the plot and throw everything else out the window, so why should this be any different?
