I consider myself up to date on non-anime things on tv and in the media and a few books and there have been quite a lot of secrets posted where I had no idea who it was or what it referenced. But I could tell it wasn't a 'generic' secret and that it was obviously referencing a specific fandom.

I'm just thinking that a lot of secrets don't get comments because they have no idea who it is, that's all, regardless of being anime or not. it's something to consider.
