It wasn't much of an episode as much as a set up for the entire season. The opening scene was confusing. I was sure I had missed an opening ten minutes that would have made Isaac with that woman scene understandable given how we saw last season end. But, nope.

They really need to graduate the "kids" soon because none of them look like teens any more. Especially Posey. He went from puppy teen to, "Huh, someone doesn't need to be carded any more."

omg the "Freshmen" looks about 30, not 14. Ridiculous.

It was a good start, but i'll admit the opening scene did make me a little confused. We might get more when Isaac is actually awake next ep!

I seriously died laughing at the supposed 14-year-olds in the show. If they're not closer to my age (early 30s) than actual high school freshmen, I will eat my hat.

Exactly. That is not what a 14 year old looks like, teen wolf!

I only watch this show when I'm in the same room as my sister, but I swear all the "high schoolers" on the show look a lot older than me, as a recent college graduate.

Another season they aren't going to be able to call it "Teen Wolf" without the audience snickering. Most are already giggling now.

I can't help but compare this show to "Freaks and Geeks" that did have young teens on it and see how much of a different look actual teens have compared to adult actors playing "teens".

Yeaah, it's getting to that point already, but next season it'll be ridiculous. What grade are they supposed to be in? Juniors, I assume? (since it's the third season).

Freaks and Geeks was really good for that, though. Some of the kids looked pretty young, but that's because that's how teenagers look, generally.

I think they're supposed to be seniors. Like the show started when they were sophomores. Which made Alison's, "They're fourteen" that much more important. Because, remember in high school, the seniors wouldn't dare touch the baby freshmen without thinking of themselves as perverts.

If I understand the timeline correctly (and I'm not saying I do), Season 1 started with them returning from winter break in sophomore year and went on for several weeks and then Season 2 picked up a few days later and went on for several weeks - so the entirety of the first two seasons took place within about four months. Season 3 picks up four months after events in the last episode from Season 2, so, yes, they're juniors.

I'm pretty sure they're juniors mostly because Scott's studying for the PSATs and most people take those their junior year.
