Re: '90s hair and clothes

Ugh. No, I hated 90's clothing when I was a kid. Especially the colossal raver/skater/punk pants. I swear, they were two teepees held up by a belt.

The only good thing about 90's clothing was the very strong DIY element. So, instead of buying a shirt was a design on it, you grabbed your sharpies or fabric markers and went to town. You slapped patches on everything. You repurposed everything. That old tin lunch box that haven't used since you were in third grade? Slap some Rancid and Hole stickers on it and VIOLA! It's your new purse. Arts and crafts wasn't just a hobby, it was a way of life.
