I was never that fond of it, but it's so weird to me how its original purpose is basically against the rules now - complaints about a fic sucking often get met with accusations of entitlement. Yeah no shit nobody owes you decent fic, but it's still annoying when people don't even try.

That what annoys me the most about it. Remember when ranted about the special snowflakes who cried out about only wanting sparkly happy praise filled reviews and no concrit because they were not in school? Yeah it seems to be against the com now because the snowflakes took over...and one of them is a mod.

It was pretty bad in that regard even in the beginning. I'd sometimes see people make a vague/generalized complaint (stuff like "I hate when slash fics portray the bottom as a weepy moron just because of his role in bed" or "I wish people would check their grammar more thoroughly") and there were a couple users who'd barge in all EXCUSE ME BUT WHERE IS THIS HAPPENING, like they needed concrete proof in order for it to be a valid rant. WTF.
