These two are my all time favorite Pokemons, and I always have them in my team.

I feel a little sad knowing they’re not very popular choices for battling, but I won enough battles against Grounds and Psychics to know they’re anything but weak.

Arbok is a big snake Pokémon, and Beedrill is a huge bee with giant stingers for arms. They're Poison and Bug type, respectively, which haven't been very popular (many disadvantages, not very good attack moves, etc.), although I think they have gotten better in newer generations as types got more balanced. I cannot vouch for this, since I haven't really played much of the newer generations.

As Pokémon carried by NPCs, they are kind of strong for the tier they are in, because of the statuses they can inflict, like Poison and Paralysis, and Beedrill can attack hard under certain circumstances, but even then they're still not that powerful compared to other Pokémon, and it's easy to beat them with type advantages.

So, yeah, they are fun to use, and if you play smartly and with a good strategy with other Pokémon they have their uses, but they're still not very popular.
