I used to read it ages ago, when it was only mostly stupid instead of 100%. The best part is when you see the same people posting constantly, and then you read their fic and it is hilariously godawful.

Wasn't there somebody who shipped Sephiroth and Sailor Jupiter or something enough to have it as their icon, and was under the constant impression that anybody gave a shit?

That was one of my favorite things about it back in the day. There was a poster who always went on about not writing Mary Sues and respecting canon, and had an epic about a teenage martial arts expert from the modern world who dimension-hopped to get with Legolas.
