I saw it when it came out in my country (dragged to watch it by my JC fan mom, actually), and while the action was as good as any JC movie can be, I found the humor to be too weird.
And honestly I didn't feel anything special with the female characters.
Something about the whole movie felt like it's trying too hard to be awesome.
