I totally agree with you. And my first thought was of Jack Lemmon in Some Like it Hot. He wasn't that bad looking for a crossdresser, if you ask me.

But then I also considered Streeter Seidell from CollegeHumor when he does the "Overgrown Guy Girlfriend" skit.

I mean, the only thing Streeter did was toss on a blonde wig and speak in a slightly higher-pitched voice, but his portrayal of an obsessive girlfriend was actually believable, and he can also pull off nylons and a skirt paired with a hoodie really well. I'd never think he was a female, but there's something about his portrayal that makes me ignore/disregard that factor. I don't know. What do you think?
