I'm not a third world citizen and everything makes me wish I had been born in the US (except for the company making real guns for toddlers, that's fucked up). Hollywood is the biggest culprit.

I don't know what grosses me out more, the fact they that feel the need to market a pink one ~for girls~ or the fact that using firearms is a hobby in general, let alone for young children. I get hunting, but eh. I dunno. This is weird.

Meh, there's racism everywhere, I have the feeling (without attempting to stereotype) that the US is just more visible and louder about it.

Hell, I'm Canadian and my experience in the grocery store parking lot this morning was some asshole woman yelling at another asshole man (I didn't see who was actually at fault for the driving fail in the lot) to 'go back to his own country', and I can bet she wouldn't have said that if he'd been white.

My dad wasn't even born here, but I guess because he's white and from England, it's acceptable immigration...

I was just boggled. Even if he had been the original jerkface, that's just a wrong thing to say... especially since he had no discernible accent and nothing other than 'being brown' to make her come to the conclusion that clearly he must be an immigrant.

Me too, ahaha. I googled "vine" and "social media" and it turns out there's an app called vine that's sort of like instagram for videos, makes videos that are 7 seconds max in length and makes them easy to share on various social media sites.

OP you may have been one of the millions in the US who are too poor to afford health care, or those who are homeless, or living in dire, violent situations. Now maybe wishing to have been born in say, Scandinavia, or Germany, the UK, those places might be worth wishing for.
