If it ended amicably and, to the best if your knowledge, you didn't hurt him or leave him pining or anything, I wouldn't worry. I don't know if being honest with your reason for wanting to be with him was really necessary. As long as you didn't make promises you had no intention of keeping or outright lie (for example, say you want long-term when you only plan to stick around short-term) I don't think it's such a big deal. I mean, regardless of your initial motivations, there was always the chance it could have wound up being a love for the ages, right? So what good would saying "I only want to date you because you look like this character" or not getting involved in the first place have done?

It doesn't sound like you did anything wrong or bad, and if it ended well, I think that's probably a more successful relationship than a lot of them I've seen.

Though it is a little weird to see someone admit that they got with someone and enjoyed screwing them as a kind of one-sided RP. But it's hardly different than people who do the same thing because someone resembles their type, or a celebrity they like.
