The HP books came out when I was an adult, LOL. That hasn't stopped me from reading/loving every single one (and all of the movies!). My dad who is almost 80 and my aunt (his sister) who is 70 also love the books and movies.
But yeah, I know what you mean about being "too cool" for kids' stuff. I used to insist on ordering from the adult menu when I was a kid!
