Yes. It's a smallish fandom so I won't name names, but almost 100% of the time if you ask for a list of fic recs hers will be on it, and it'll be the first one people rec. People gush about it endlessly, and I've never heard anyone say (in public) that it's anything less than amazing.

And no, I don't agree with it. It's good but not great. It gets a pass because it's been around for ages so it's "a classic", but it's rather pretentious.
