On the other hand it's kind of annoying to dub into someone else's good natured complaining about a pairing not working out with tales of how it's not that bad for you.

If it was actually something serious then there's a reason for them to be sharing.

It is petty, but it's also obnoxious to tell someone who loves a ship that they should relax cause this other ship is great and lala stop being so uptight because they should all be together.
