Just the carteblanche of taggers running roughshod over that site - it has a sort of every grade schooler is a blue ribbon winner / hippie granola mentality about it.

The admins of AO3 expressly forbid tag wranglers from "laying down the law." They even restrict wranglers' ability to make tagging suggestions.
