Though the secret is OTT, I get where you're coming from. I think it's funny how everyone is agreeing with you, some pretty harshly. Usually people don't mind complaints "so long as they own their attitude." It was probably the wording of this secret that rubbed people the wrong way, which came off to me as you poking fun at yourself and being self-aware.

I can sort of sympathize with you because a while back, I had to unfollow a ship tumblr that's run by someone who ships the subject pairing and its (more popular) 'rival,' which I anti-ship. At first the tumblr was really awesome, but I got annoyed and had to leave when it turned into the user's secondary personal tumblr. Running out of things to post for a pairing is fine, I would have understood if the user stopped posting for a while. But once I saw her posting gen that had absolutely no relation to the pairing and things that featured my anti-ship, I pettily peaced out. So yeah, in certain cases like that, I agree with your secret.

...Except the OP said up thread that it wasn't specifically a pairing comm. It was for both characters [not paired] *and* the pairing, so other pairings involving one of the characters isn't off topic for that comm.

Also, from what I've seen it's more the fact the OP is saying 'YOU LIKE SOMETHING I DON'T! YOU SHOULD BE BANNED!'
