(Anonymous) 2013-06-11 01:48 pm (UTC)(link)There are a lot of people from one side of one of my fandoms who are multishippers who'd like to join the fandom for one specific ship, but that ship's fandom is so into tearing down other peoples' preferences that they mostly don't bother. Their official board bans saying anything about the rival ship that's even faintly positive, there are whole sections for tearing apart the rival ship, and bashing threads about the rival female character abound.
