No shame in this! While I like some tragic things (oh god putting Madoka in your secret, I cried so hard over it), I generally like positive/happy things that bring up my mood. There are plenty of things that are REALLY excellent and happen to be uplifting, happy and generally nice.

(I recommend Pushing Daisies if you haven't seen it; a lot of it's about death, but it's just so bright and happy)

Yes! It's one of my favorite shows. I loved it a lot and miss it a lot as well.
