Maybe you can do it in incomplete chronological order? Instead of watching every single episode in order, watch just two or three serials from each season, starting with the first season. Then fill in the gaps later.

OTOH, working through the entire show in order actually sounds like a really, really interesting experience! I don't think very many people do it, so it would be pretty unique if you decide to do it. Like maybe, you could decide to watch at least one serial per week, perhaps more if you feel the inclination, and slowly work through it that way. And maybe keep an episode reflection journal while you do it, to make it more interesting or something.
