As far as I can remember, I first heard this song at a weird puppet show at the fair, that was basically the plot of Urashimataro, so I can't listen to the song without being weirded out, and assuming that Jackie Paper left because he accidentally opened the box that made him too old to believe in Puff, and not because he stopped naturally.

What song really gets me, though, is One Tin Soldier. D:

It *is* a sad song though, OP! Why people think it's okay for *small* children is something I'll never understand. :/

Also, intentionally or not I'm going to assume this is a Peter, Paul and Mary secret and squee accordingly.

I also cry at One Tin Soldier. I watched Billy Jack the other night and cried my way through the mustang round-up.

One Tin Soldier always makes me cry, but I think it's because it makes me think about the movie which never fails to make me cry.

I've honestly never heard of Billy Jack, I'm sorry. D: I just know the song through a camp counselor who sang it to us one year, as a bedtime song.
