Eh, I don't care about posting my art elsewhere or making icons.
But I think it's disgusting when people take the artworks and blurr/crop/paint over the "watermark".

I put my website adress on that shit for a reason, assholes!

And probably ruined the picture in the process. An artist's signature can be attractive, but 99% of the time, a URL that stands out well enough to read is an ugly blemish on an otherwise nice piece of work.

then it doesn't matter how 'attractive' the signature is, it's right across the middle of the damn picture.

way to go. so you've ensured no one has stolen your art.

So a blurry blotch or bar of paint in the corner of an image is more attractive than a website adress? Get out.

Also, I reserve the right to "ruin" the pics I spent hours and hours on with a little line of text. I draw fanart for myself and put it on the web to get concrit because it helps me improve. I don't draw it for others to cut out my website adress and sell prints.
