It various wildly. I know people who moved out at 18, and people who are still living at home at 28. I'm 24, two years out of college, and still living with my parents with no end in sight. Even when I was working full-time I wasn't making enough to live on my own; I had to quit my job for health reasons and feel like I'm back where I started.
