I'm not a fan of Ikem supposedly being his father in the least, but for crying out loud, Zuko wouldn't be acting like it was possible in the first place if the so-called family resemblance was as strong as you claim. If you were right, his first thought wouldn't be "OH NOES THIS IKEM PERSON IS MY REAL DADDY", as his expression denotes, it would be "THIS ISN'T POSSIBLE BECAUSE I LOOK JUST LIKE OZAI". The latter is clearly NOT what he's thinking. If anyone looks just like Ozai, it's AZULA, which makes the counter-assumption that she isn't Ozai's a load of ostrich-horse crap.

(Anonymous) 2013-06-12 02:59 am (UTC)(link)Zuko does look A LOT like his father. In fact, the writers have said before that Ozai was specifically designed as an older Zuko, and they are drawn very similarly even in the comics.
