His face just looks really weird. The red beard and the baldness makes the lower half of his face look much wider than the upper half, like his head is some kind of deformed peanut. And he's obviously trying to minimize the effect of the baldness by cutting his hair short, which doesn't really help with his peanut head.

And it's pretty obvious that he's not a feminist because he has a beard.

That's not the beard, that's just the weirdness that is his head. Looks like that with or without beard. Tho I am pretty happy he stopped having that weird floppy sort of combover situation and just shaves his head now.

I wonder why so many men do this. Is it to proof that they can grow hair...just not on their head?

Maybe I should be glad they grow a beard instead of growing huge amounts of back hair and flashing that around.

Because having high testosterone correlates with both male pattern baldness and being generally hirsute elsewhere. It's something a lot of men have to deal with.
