Personal head canon:

All the Baratheon brothers are gay. Renly openly so, Stannis knows it in his heart but hates himself for it, and Robert bedded woman after woman and developed an unhealthy fixation on Lyanna to convince himself that Ned wasn't the love of his life.

I kind of love this interpretation, but at the same time... it makes every event in GoT about 10x sadder. Poor Robert.

I like this. Personally I always thought Robert was straight, Renly gay and Stannis bi. Which is kind of hilarious because the stereotype is that bisexual people are ~promiscuous~ and Stannis is the only Baratheon brother who's repressed as hell.

Stannis is asexual in my headcanon, but I like your headcanon just because I like non-stereotypical bi characters. We're not all Jack Harkness or Brittany from Glee.
