so what you're saying is, you WANNA troll, but you don't quite know why and you don't wanna put in the effort?

(Obligatory personal opinion: he's not perfect, but it's more clearly important to him to write his female characters as complex and real and both flawed AND strong human beings than almost any other writer working today. If that's not feminism to you then I guess we'll have to agree to disagree)

"almost any other writer working today" What, including women scriptwriters here? Not that there's a whole lot, but I think you need to watch more shows/films.

Sir/madam I can list off the top of my head a fuckin' number of women who write movies and TV, and my point stands. Just because you're a woman doesn't mean you automatically make it a priority to make your female characers awesome, as much as I hate to say it. (To be fair, the fact that the writer is a woman can sometimes actually lead to studio pressure to focus LESS on female characters because the male studio heads believe audiences care more about the guys. unless it's a movie specifically targeted at women)
