(Anonymous) 2013-06-13 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)I hate woobification, but I think you're missing crucial elements to his character and trying to compare him to a real life sociopath. Lecter is a fictional character, not something that you can compare with real life examples. He is a monster, but he clearly cares about Clarice and sees more than a piece of meat.
