Aha, that's funny. I actually watch Teen Wolf but I hardly ever see it on my dash. The fandom I get the most that I don't watch is Supernatural. I have no idea what's going on but I feel I should be happy being blissfully unaware.

Is there fic where they grew up together and were friends who started to grow apart as they got older? Because I want that fic. Especially if Peter had heard there was a hunter in the area and wanted to run them out of town, but didn't know who it was, and Deaton did but wouldn't tell him because he said they just needed to play it by ear. AND THEN THE FIRE HAPPENED.

Oooh, I'm not sure if that fic exists but it should. And it's made even better by the fact that Deaton revealed he was an adviser to the Hale family (which means he and Peter must have interacted at least a little bit in pre-canon). Maybe Peter didn't agree with some of Deaton's advising and that's what drove a wedge between them?
