Dude, Elliot is The Hulk (and we are talking Bixby Hulk, not Modern Hulk). I'm not even certain Elliot can handle spilling his coffee without going on a rage-fueled rampage. He is the second worst cop I'd ever want to see investigating anything. And Olivia is one of those reality-bending Mary Sues from the Silver Age.

This really made me giggle! I've hardly ever watched SVU, but the times when It's Hitting Too Close To Home and one or both of the main duo goes berserk - that is my favorite part.

I imagine days in the squadroom sometimes go like this:

Munch: That was a call from the three-two they've got a ten fifty-four in progress.
Cragen: Again? Liv, get down there and take Elliot his pants. Tell him to get another purple stretchy pair and he's not to buy hotdogs if he can't deal with getting mustard on his shirt.
Olivia: *sparkles slightly and rewrites the world so she and Elliot don't get fired, and that she has a new hairdo and a boyfriend who will turn out to be part of a dramatic incident next week where she can look beautifully sad*

Finn: It's okay I got a "black man has a hard time with homosexuality and drugs" two episode special coming up near the end of the season, so I don't need no storyline this week anyway.
