I just wanted to say thanks for the support.

I know how odd and irrational this probably sounds, but it's the truth. He'll I think at that point in my life it could have been anyone that I clung to but I happened to be McAvoy, I appreciate how kind and giving a person he is, despite a rather high stress environment to live and work in. He came from a rather similar background to myself and essentially built himself from nothing.

I just really, really respect that. I never thought I could be anything because of where I came from and here's a guy who came from a similar path to myself and made something great of what he had.

Now I don't want to be in movies or anything, actually I want to be an autopsy technician, but it just makes me feel happy to know that people can get out of the shitty hand we can be dealt. Someday I would love to meet McAvoy and be able to speak with him but I wouldn't dream of putting the pressure of knowing he was he only thing tethering me onto him. He doesn't deserve that.

I hope you do get to meet him someday, anon. It's nice to have someone to relate to like that, especially when they've lived something so close to what you know.

Just adding that I am happy that you are getting better, OP! I hope you will be able to meet James one day, I've met him this year, and he is just really amazing and nice to his fans.

I completely adore James McAvoy. You know he had his own battles with himself - before he met Anne-Marie he wasn't in a very good place and I guess she was his anchor. So we all have struggles (not to trivialise yours, of course) but I guess if you weren't aware, you might like to know that James has had his own struggles and risen above them. I wish you all the best.
