I am currently reading a book called The Venetian Betrayal that I saved years ago when a coworker was planning to throw it away. I didn't like it at first because it isn't my usual kind of book but boy does it suck you in! I'm in precisely the mood for short chapters and multiple POVs right now.

Very Important Question! Is anyone familiar with Great North Road by Peter F Hamilton? If so, would you recommend it? I bought it for my dad for Father's Day and am now second guessing my choice.

Sorry, I am not familiar with that book but it has excellent reviews so I am sure your father will love it. I also got a book for my father (but on motorcycles).
