(Anonymous) 2013-06-16 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)Die Hand Die Verletzt is great - very effectively spooky, great weird atmosphere, and I love that ultimately Mulder and Scully basically don't do anything, they just help an evil spirit work its revenge. They're almost spectators. Mind's Eye is really great mostly because the episode's central character Marty Glenn is so fucking fierce (and also played by the phenomenal Lili Taylor) and because the paranormal aspect is just really cool and so well-linked to the drama, and the ending is just great, deeply depressing stuff.
