I will never get brides' obsession with their dresses. You wear that shit one time (figuring you wouldn't wear the same dress to your second wedding) and it costs a shitload of money.
Is it really so important that your dress doesn't look too much like a dress of a character you don't like?

Plus, I can't see anything special in Bella's dress. It's just a pretty dress. There's nothing "extra" about it (like the dresses in Lord of the Rings for example, those would get recognized as being special designs).

I'd be happy to wear that Twilight dress... if I was allowed to marry in my country, that is.

You wouldn't cosplay a character you can't stand, would you? So why on one of the big days in your life would you dress like one? Especially if their pretty dress isn't that pretty on you anyhow.

I think the back of Bella's dress is something, but she doesn't have the ass to pay off for all that teasing. You follow the lace down and... nothing.

Yeah, but I doubt many people would recognize a dress as "OMG BELLA'S DRESS". If one's a Twihard they will compare your white wedding dress to Bella's white wedding dress no matter how close it looks to her's.

There are plenty of dress types out there that wouldn't remotely look like Bella's. Belle's, for instance. Those Disney Princess-inspired wedding dresses aren't too bad.
