I hate Skyler not because she's a woman and I do fully admit/acknowledge/think almost all of her actions are justified and probably how I'd react if I were in her position.

The reason she is hated is because she continuously and annoyingly tries to change the way things are (no shit, I would too!) but if things were the way she tries to make them be, we wouldn't have this TV show or we'd have a very boring one.

(I have not seen Breaking Bad, so I'm reacting objectively here.)

So... she should be passive and just sit around while the plot happens? She's reacting realistically by your own admission, which creates conflict, which propels the story, and... that's why you hate her?

I don't understand what you want from this character here. Think about it this way - if Skylar just sat around and was oblivious/ignored what her husband was doing, wouldn't it take away from the show? Her character obviously creates conflict, and imo that's the defining point of any story. Hating her for that just seems... weird.
