High-functioning autistics is exactly why I said it's a question that can be stirred to no end. Thing is, I mostly agree with the "L fits the description" argument until people start claiming he actually does have autism, or like you said, start treating it like a personality trait. The fact that L is weird doesn't necessarily mean he can or should be diagnosed as an autistic, but it's still interesting to discuss. Which was my point. People theorize in hopes of understanding something. And they should keep at it, in my opinion.

Now if said people weren't so careless with how they voiced their opinion fandom wouldn't have half as much drama and butthurt.
