Eeer, trying not to be spoilery here, but I assume OP is referring to the very last scene of "The Name of Doctor," people.

Oh, if that's it... I mean, I'm actually kind of glad for the fact that there was another regeneration during the Time War. It seemed weird, considering descriptions of the other Time Lords wasting regenerations while fighting and the Council waiving the regeneration rule to continue the fighting, that the Doctor only changed once. When he was supposedly on the front lines.

It just makes sense.

Someone pointed out it also puts Erin Ptah's Sailor Pluto and The Doctor back inline canon if it is true.
