98% of misandry is actually just results from misogyny so...sort of.

Yeah, basically this. A lot of the things that people bring up when talking about misandry--men being less likely to get custody of their kids, attitudes towards male rape victims, men being seen as somehow lesser if they act/look more stereotypically "feminine"/have hobbies that are more typically associate with women/etc.--are all products of misogyny and things that feminism works to end.

(Well, mostly. Certain types of feminism focus on different things and approach things differently.)

"misandry" isn't the problem, misogyny is. if dude bro shitheads would stop whining about misandry and start fighting misogyny then everyone would go home a happy camper. I'm definitely sympathetic to the things that get labeled as misandry (attitudes towards male rape victims, men being judged harshly for showing too much emotion, etc) but people need to realize what the root of those problems really is: misogyny. It effects everyone, not just women.

What about women who just hate men as a whole? Not the particular man who was rude or abusive toward her, but the whole gender?

That is a very, very small minority although they seem disproportionately common on the Internet/Tumblr.

Also, they wouldn't hate men if patriarchy and men (not all, but very much most men) weren't, well, douchebags in one way or another or in most ways.

Iow, men need to stop giving women reason to hate them (raping, sexism, etc. needs to STOP).

I don't hate men or even dislike them as a gender, but I sure as hell don't trust them an inch as a whole (individuals are excepted somewhat since I don't believe I can ever totally know someone and their past and what they're capable of.).
