Jaime (with that spelling and the pronunciation they give it in the show) is already a real name, too. And not that uncommon (at least here in the US).

It's true! Where I'm from, Jaime and Jamie are both pronounced the same way and are fairly common names. In my experience, though, Jaime is usually the way girls spell it, whereas Jamie is a nickname for James.

I was thinking that. I've seen the name before. Jaime Reyes, the Blue Beetle from Young Justice.

Though for some reason I always pronounced it 'Jaem' until I actually heard it said out loud.

Blue Beetle Jaime's name is pronounced 'Hai-may', though, not 'Jay-mee' like I believe it is in Game of Thrones.
