Yeah I wasn't too impressed by it. There were some funny moments, but a lot of the "geek" in-jokes relied on the same boring "girls not into geek" stuff.

Piggybacking off the above: This. The one (maybe) nerd girl we meet in the series is a one-off character who also happens to be a model.

More directly to the OP: Yes, it's about nerds, but not girl nerds, despite all the stuff that eventually turns up in Jen's office. Jen is intended as the butt of the nerd humor frequently. I thought it was still a great series though.

Agree. I didn't think the geek jokes were that bad by themselves, it was the "durrrr teh wimmenz don't understand technology they just love shoes and hawt guys" humor to be really flat, like the writers were phoning it in... from 1992.
