Add Ron to the FredxHermione situation and it'd be very interesting! But yes, I never really thought about FredxHermione and it'd be interesting to see the effect they'd have on eachother. Would Fred straighten up a bit I wonder, much to George's dismay? Hmmm...
Ahhh, I really have to read the 7th again, didn't notice/remember the Percy's girlfriend reference. My sister's reading the series, so I have to go slow with my reread or else I'll be left waiting for her. I always thought Hermione had a bit of respect for him, but the second he blamed Winky for what happened in the 4th book, I think it was dashed. I wonder if she still had any lingering for him after... something else to look out for!
I love the twins too, they're actually my favourite Weasleys. They're probably high up on my list of favourites. So many characters...

Would Fred straighten up a bit I wonder, much to George's dismay? Hmmm...
ACK! I don't know why, but after all these years I never even THOUGHT of that! I HOPE NOT! XDD
Oh, remember when they have to think up names off the top of their heads, she calls herself Penelope Clearwater, whom you remember in the second book as the petrified Ravenclaw prefect whom Percy dated throughout school. KWHAHA. I NOTICE RANDOM THINGS. XD Yeah, that crush was pretty...crushed in the fourth book, so my idea of it faded until she went by Penelope and I thought, "Ah, maybe we still have a little thing for Percy the
PinheadPrefect?"Yeah, I always fall for the comic relief, and to be perfectly honest, the twins and Ron were kind of it when it came to humor, and while I love Ron, Fred and George were just more fun, I suppose. I still cry about Fred's death. Too much for me...I like to pretend it never happened.

Hee hee XD poor ol' Percy, him and his house elf bashing ruined his chances! Ruined, I say! Ahh, I can't wait til I can read the seventh book again...
Yes I found it very hard to accept Fred's death, he just... didn't seem like someone who'd die, if you know what I mean. I mean, Sirius always had that "devil may care" attitude and got into danger, so you could see how he could be killed and Dumbledore had that "Wise old man whose death would be his aid" thing too, but Fred? He was a joker, just wanted to amuse people, just wanted to have fun, dying in a war situation seemed like such a sad situation for him. Adding the twin thing... yeah. I remember reading a fic of George walking into the joke shop after he died... it was so sad.

GOD, I know. When I heard the rumor, I was like, "Oh, bull plop. He's a joke shop owner. What would Death Eaters want with a joke shop owner? And why wouldn't they kill George, too? I mean, they're NEVER more than five feet apart..." ...why WAS George mysteriously missing? That bit haunts almost all the fanfics I write.
Reading/writing fanfics about it make me sob, but I don't stop. I dunno why, but it makes me feel better, in a weird, masochistic way...
no subject
Yeah... Jesus, where was he? Well, it was a battle type situation, so obviously they could've been stationed at seperate places, but yeah, it's quite strange that that was one of the few times they were seen without eachother.
Auugh, just makes it sadder! I've only read one or two fics, but it almost helps me accept that they died XD It's so easy to go to an older book and say "hey look! They all happy and alive there!"
no subject
Really? Only two? God, I've written like ten post-DH fics, and read more than ten times as many. My obsession is disturbing. oO;
My favourite thing to do is flip through my original paperback copy of the first book, the one I got for Christmas the year it came out, and look at all the stuff I had dogeared, marked and highlighted. 90% of the lines I had highlighted are Fred and George lines, and some of the time I would go back after reading the latest book and write a little note, like after reading the fifth one I wrote "Aw, I miss them already." Over a couple lines, and in retrospect, that just makes me want to cry all over again.
no subject
Ahh, yes, I love rereading over stuff before and great moments with your favourite characters. Especially after the last book, you just a great appreciation for them after that!
no subject
Yeah, like parts with Neville in the beginning, you're like, "Hey! Show him some respect! He killed Nagini! You all owe him your asses!" XD
no subject
XD I know, I'm reading bits with Neville and people looking down on him, and I'm like "oh, he WILL be badass one day. You'll see. You'll all see!!" Even how Harry's progressed is great too, so much trauma unloaded to one lad, eh?
no subject
Yeah, I know! And just seeing how the writing in general has pogressed, to age with its readers. I mean, Look at the last chapter in the first book. It's like, what, twenty pages? And all in that chapter we have Harry finding out that it's Querrell he needs to fight, getting the stone, the fight with Voldemort, getting out of the hospital wing, winning the house cup and going home. ALL IN ONE CHAPTER. That would've taken about six or seven chapters in the later books. XD
no subject
Yeah! I'm rereading the fifth book and it takes about 150+ pages for them to actually get to school! Of course there's the trial and the Order business and whatnot, but it's so funny how detailed it's gotten. It's also funny to see Hermione in the first book, she seems so much dorkier back then =P
(Psst. Do you mind if I friend you? It's always fun to babble about fun shtuffs and you seem like a great babbler XD)
no subject
God, I know. I remember first reading the fourth one, and I was like, "Jesus, it takes them eleven chapters before they get to school? What could possibly go on for ELEVEN CHAPTERS?" Which is hilarious, because it takes about twenty-nine chapters for them to get to Hogwarts in the seventh one, and I didn't even notice. XD I've noticed how Hermione kinda vamp'd out, too. Well, not VAMP'D OUT, but you know. At least she sorted out her priorities. XDD
Yay, okay! :D I am indeed a great babbler, and you seem like a wonderful one, yourself. XD Add'd.
no subject
XD Yes, I was like "Jesus, does this mean the 7th book won't be in Hogwarts? I dunno about that..." after the 6th, but it turned out to be way better than I thought! Kinda wish I got to see the malarky happening there!
Excellent, added back =D
no subject
I was nervous, too. I was like, "Well, great, we've got the Golden Trio, but what about Neville? What about Dean and Seamus and McGoogles?! *fret fret fret*" But it all worked out. And we even got Percy back! I know a lot of Fred lovers blame him, but I don't. I love Percy. >.>; (Although I make George blame him a lot in my stories...)
Yay! ^^
