Re: How frequently is your job represented in media or fandom

I'm a homemaker. Housewife. Whatever you want to call it. (Though i've had a number of 'outside' jobs, too).

And um - usually pretty wrong, heh. I don't spend all my time cleaning and running around after my kid and cooking/baking/going to book clubs. I *also* do not spend all my time in a housecoat and slippers, smoking on the couch and watching 'Days of our Lives'.

My SO is a tattoo artist. Wrong, wrong, always so wrong, though at least they mostly have them wearing gloves, now. But seriously - wrong. (And they never mention the jobs *i've* had at tattoo shops, which is manning the front/dealing with customers/taking care of the day-to-day of the shop, *or* the job of building needle groups, cleaning up stations, sterilizing stuff, setting stations up.....)
