I love drinks! Strawberry daiquiris are one of my favorites and we always use fresh strawberries, a little ice and rum, that's it!

I tend to order rum & coke out because it's easy. I also have a habit of creating my own cocktails at home. Vanilla coke and whipped vodka, whipped vodka and orange soda, sparkling cranberry juice and Three Olives loopy vodka, cranberry vodka and ginger ale. Really I take a flavored vodka and just mix it with whatever it around.

Toasted almonds are pretty good and it's kahlua, amaretto, and cream/milk.

Whipped vodka, now that is interesting! I love the toasted almond idea too. Thanks a million, I'm getting some great inspiration here!

Smirnoff, Pinnacle, and Three Olives all make fairly good flavored vodkas. Granted, it's an individual preference thing, some flavors are better than others.

I second the strawberry daiquiris suggestion, that shit's freaking ambrosia.

Daiquiris can also be very tasty when replacing the strawberry with peaches, or bananas. Just make sure you use fresh fruit and NOT the godawful gooey liquid they sell as pre-made cocktails (just add your alcohol of choice!) Those taste like medicine >_

A friend gave me one of those Bacardi strawberry daiquiri premixed bottles. For being only 15% or so of vodka, it's awfully strong. So we take that and mix it with fresh strawberries, otherwise it's nearly undrinkable.

ayrt Oh I didn't mean the premixes with alcohol. What I usually see in stores is an alcohol-free syrup that's supposed to be used in drinks and cocktails, and it has such an awful chemical taste that we couldn't mask it, even by using good rum and some fresh strawberries. We had to throw the entire batch away, which was a pity :(
