I'm a preschool teacher... I work at a Montessori school, which AFAIK has NEVER been featured in media, so preschools on tv aren't really anything like my school. However what bugs me is that preschool/kindergarten teachers on tv are always just as sweet as sugar in their daily life as they are while in the classroom... NOPE! I spend most of the time I'm not teaching writing slash smut lol

Yep... The writers have never been in a staff room, obviously (I'm regular preschool). Plus it's not all fun and games. You never see the programming and observations and annoying parents and the difficult children and the days spent inside because it's raining...

omg yes if we have to stay inside because of the rain it doesn't take me long to go crazy, especially if we're on the high end of our ratio, and some kids can be so annoying. it can be fun but there's soo much else going on
