I love it. I hate reading about it on the internet because then I feel bad for loving it.

People sure seem to have lots of bad things to say about it :/

It's the Internet hype cycle. People used to love the book way, way too much and now they hate it way, way too much, partly out of contrarianism and partly because when it was the boom part of the boom-bust cycle, people praised it way beyond what it's worth.

I don't care for the book myself but I think some of the criticism can be too negative. It's not the most horrible book in existence, it's just an okay book that's not at all to my taste. But that's just the way the Internet is I guess.
