Re: How frequently is your job represented in media or fandom

Bank teller, so I do occasionally see my job get robbed on TV, I suppose. The job gets represented accurately enough, I guess, but now that I've actually seen the inside of a bank vault I get nitpicky about bank robberies on TV shows. For example, anything where the bad guys break in to the back room and it's just one giant walk-in vault with piles of money just lying there, not locked up in any additional smaller vaults or anything. Or anything where the bank robbers are taking piles and piles of hundreds from tellers straight out of their teller drawers. I would be fired in a hot second if I kept that kind of money out in my working drawer.
