Gunnerkrigg Court, apparently. The latest chapter made all the homophobes DRAMATICALLY QUIT. Assuming they kept their word it should be pretty great from now on.

OT Mild Gunnerkrigg Court Spoilers Ahead and all that

I hope so. This is the first time in my life I have seen people collectively so upset about cute lesbians in a comic.

I still don't fully understand why people are even upset. He'd been working that up for awhile, and it wasn't objectionable in the least.

I've always noticed that the people in the comments section (obviously not all of them) tend to be pretty dense. There are a lot of small details in Gunnerkrigg that don't seem important until later, so a few re-reads are REALLY necessary. I think for the ones who were SO DISAPPOINTED that they had to stop reading, it was a combination of poor reading comprehension and denial due to their own homophobia. And it's infuriating that they seemed to think Tom was on their side and that he was going to troll the shippers or something when...he posts femslash fanart on his tumblr, and is also not an asshole. And like you said, there was build up. And also Zimmy and Gamma.

My mind is a bit clearer than when I made my original comment, so I don't think it's quiiite what the OP was looking for, given that the fandom, while sizeable, isn't very active in creating fanworks. But the canon is one of the best in regards to how it treats gay characters and I pretty much rec it to everyone because I want more fanworks and positivity.

Sorry. I tend to ramble when I talk about Gunnerkrigg.

I cannot understand why people are upset about that.

I think the budding romance is so adorable.
