My childhood nostalgia is anime, titles such as Hokuto no Ken. I'm sorry but anything western becomes pretty forgettable compared to the East.

... how does that make them a weeaboo? Just because it's Japanese? When I was a kid, before we got cable, the only animation on TV that wasn't classic WB and Disney cartoon shorts (Looney Toons and Merrie Melodies mainly), Tom & Jerry, and Pink Panther, the rest were all anime. So, naturally, I grew up with Doraemon, Kimba the White Lion, Chibi Maruko-chan...

So, it could just be what was on TV when they were a kid.
