Re: How frequently is your job represented in media or fandom

Biologist. Representations in media (not that common but not completely rare either) often make me shake my head (yay, the "nasty, crazy scientist accidentally dooming innocents" trope) or occasionally laugh out loud.

I love nit-picking at things like an actor that has obviously never worked with a pipette before.

On a slightly related note (bee-keeping is not my job but someone I know does it as a hobby): I just watched the bee-related episode of Pushing Daisies and yeah. So not even remotely accurate. XD
