Still doing my master's for it, but museum curators (IF I go into a curatorial position, I'd also be more than happy with collection management, and I've never seen that!) are inevitably portrayed as eccentric old men who look like they've just stepped out of the nineteenth century and have offices that look like human-sized curiosity cabinets.

...There's, uh, some truth in that, but most curators just have like... offices. Or office cubicles. (Yeah, there's related material lying around - in the internships I've done, the curator for space had model space ships, posters of planets, and sci fi memorabilia, the herbarium curators had boxes of plants they were working on, and the head curator at my current internship has... mostly a lot of paperwork, actually... but they are working offices, not playrooms!)

Leverage has a young-ish [well, compared to the stereotype] attractive lady as a curator in it! =D She's also pretty awesome.

At least, I *think* that's what her job is - but it's very similar if not that.
